The travelers need Energy to remove obstacles while exploring the islands. The Energy meter is replenished over time, but if you don't want to wait, sets of Energy can be purchased for Crystals. You can get more energy from a Bowl of Fruit (a demolishable construction that can be found on the islands). Also, you can get Energy as a reward for watching videos or produce it in a special camp on the island.
