Search the Waves is a daytime speedboat racing mini-game. The main objective is to collect all the gears in the water and avoid hitting obstacles. You can get a great reward for successfully completing the race, or you could even find the Captain’s Gift in the water.

Search the Waves becomes available as soon as you repair the speedboat. Just stock up on fuel and get behind the wheel!

To win in this mini-game you have to collect all the gears in the water before the timer runs out without crashing into obstacles. Don’t worry if you don’t get all the gears: you’ll still get a reward for completing the race. There’s only one way to fail the race and that's by hitting an obstacle. In this case, the gears you’ve collected will be lost.

If you spend crystals to continue the race after hitting an obstacle and reach the finish line, you will get everything collected during the race.
