If you don't reach the finish line, you won't get any resources.

Pay close attention and avoid hitting obstacles; if you do, the speedboat will go down.

There are gears scattered all along the speedboat’s way. To complete the mini-game perfectly, you must collect them all. When you reach the finish line, you’ll get all the gears you’ve collected along with experience and money. The more gear you collect along the way, the better your reward will be.
