During the testing, we were surprised to find out that many playtesters thought they were playing as Arnie, a dog. This confusion is probably caused by him being prominently featured in many of the in-game notifications (such as the low energy notification). We felt that seeing a cute puppy would cheer you up. So, according to our scripts, the protagonist of the game (you) is a human being, and your trusty dog Arnie is your helper and companion in your adventures. However, if you choose to self-identify as a dog, that is entirely your decision and we have neither the right nor the desire to stop you from doing so.
